Nineteen Hundred Ch1CHAPTER 1 DIFFERENTNineteen Hundred Ch1
It was always hard being different to all the other children around me. Id grown up knowing I was special, but hadnt fully understood why it was such a big deal. My parents were also special, more so than me, but I didnt understand that fully either.
It was custom I looked my best all the time. Beautiful dresses, beautiful hair, beautiful everything. I always had to have someone with me, even when I slept, in case something happened. I had to have the best manners, know how to dance, have private lessons with a tutor and learn self confidence strategies. I didnt

Tanisha, Marie and Gabby all turned around and walked off without even saying goodbye. Good night? Matt asked me. Yeah. Your band was great. I said as I turned around. Marie and I had mostly stared at this one cute guy all day. Hed been there with one other boy, sitting on a towel with an acoustic guitar in his hand, strumming away, both boys singing away softly.
The music was loud, and it took some time for my ears to adjust. The main band was coming on at eight thirty; just ten minutes away.
I started to walk closer to the stage where I saw my two other friends waiting for us. Hey
